ATLANTA, (Feb. 18, 2022) — GreyOrange, the fulfillment platform leader, today announced that GreyOrange Retail Consulting Partner, Apurva Vadera and H&M Head of Logistics Pascal Fassler will speak at the Retailers Industry Leaders Association (RILA), LINK 2022 Retail Supply Chain Conference on February 21. Vadera and Fassler will lead “Creating Customer-Focused Fulfillment: 3 Lessons from H&M,” outlining how GreyOrange was able to execute a transformational customer-focused fulfillment journey for the multinational clothing retail leader. The educational session, taking place Monday, February 21 from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Room Grapevine D, will guide attendees through best practices for rethinking fulfillment in today’s age of new customer expectations.
“Incorporating GreyOrange’s modern approaches, such as intelligent software and robotics, enabled optimizations that transformed our Robbinsville distribution center into a completely customer-centered operational facility,” said Pascal Fassler, Head of Logistics, Americas, H&M. “As H&M continues to deploy modern fulfillment and in-store experiences, our efforts focus on customer relationships.”
“To face altered retail shopping realities, H&M sought innovative yet practical strategies to satisfy new levels of customer expectations largely driven by evolving ecommerce trends and location-based differences,” said Apurva Vadera, Partner, GreyOrange Retail Consulting. “Through fulfillment nodes, innovative tech-enabled “omni-work” capabilities, robots, real-time inventory visibility, Smart Fitting Rooms and other exceptional experiences leveraged by AI, H&M was able to execute fulfillment and in-store experiences that will continue to shape the future of retail customer relationships.”
The presentation will include gStore, the new mobile-first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) app being launched and demonstrated at booth #1329 by Akash Gupta, GreyOrange Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. Retailers can use gStore to optimize how their stores serve in omnichannel fulfillment networks while also delivering exceptional tech-enabled experiences for in-store shoppers.
“Today’s consumers expect seamless online and in-person shopping experiences,” Gupta noted. “gStore works with existing retail systems to organize real-time inventory and order data and to orchestrate work processes that serve in-store shoppers as well as online fulfillment. An intuitive mobile app puts everything at the store associate’s fingertips and AI-based cloud software assigns and directs work in real-time based on numerous variables.”
