Mechanical Engineer - (FEA)

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in concurrent product development process and excellent grasp of Finite Element Modeling and analysis of complex electromechanical systems. S/he should be capable of solving any problem in an engineered approach and should be capable of working in a volatile and rapid growth environment. S/he should also be cool to work with, passionate about solving problems and able to match Grey Orange`s energy levels and commitment to build amazing products .

Responsibilities:
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept level to production including CAD designing, prototyping, validation, testing and certification
  • Mentor a team of engineers and help grey orange create a world class Structural modeling and characterization team
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of various Products and Validate the designs
  • Involve in R&D for constantly improving the performance, reliability and life cycle of our products
  • Active participation in reliability tests of new hardware systems
  • Documentation of functional specifications, verification plans and test procedures
  • Support Production, Installation and Service Department staff when necessary to solve problems encountered during lifecycle of product
  • Travel on an occasional basis, both domestically and internationally for business related opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelors/Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering) with 5-7 years of experience
  • Thorough understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in mechanical engineering
  • Strong Knowledge of solid mechanics and Strength of materials
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience of Static and Dynamic Structural FEA analysis
  • Worked on practical projects in which you have built/contributed to the project
  • Knowledge of materials and material properties
  • Basic working knowledge of electrical and electronic hardware and circuits
  • Strong communications skills and familiarity with fast growing companies and industry trends
  • Will to put forth extra effort when required to meet design schedules on projects where delivery time is critical
